What a great slide show - it truly encapsulates how our school remembers, respects and takes responsibility for not only ourselves but also for the world.
I experienced my first Remembrance Day NOT in a school (either as a student or a teacher) in the French Pyrenees, and it was quite an amazing experience. To see people in a small French village who all knew people killed in WWII was really powerful.
While I'm not at the school this year, I genuinely miss the amazing things that the staff and students are doing at Mandela, and wish you all a happy Friday November 27th.
Currently I'm in Porto, Portugal, and we're headed to Lagos, Portugal. I might try surfing this weekend. Not the Internet kind, but the water kind.
I was going to try it in Ireland, but it was WAY too cold there!
Nelson Mandela Park's Web News Crew bring you the solid and scintillating reporting they are famous for in their established Newspaper, "Rising Every Time" with this inclusive and more up-to-the-minute format! We know you'll love it, and visit often!
